Engr. Samuel Chikezie Eze

Engr. Samuel Chikezie is the Group Chief Executive and Managing Director of Chikezie Eze Samez Engineering Services Limited and Samez Consultancy Services Limited.

Samuel Chikezie Eze studied Mechanical/Production Engineering at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) and Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) leading to award of B. Eng. degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. He also holds a B. Sc (Hons) degree in Economics from University of Abuja, Abuja and an M.Eng degree in Mechanical /Production Engineering from Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.

Sam has over 38 years of postgraduate experience of which 20 years was spent in the Petroleum Industry – reaching the position of Deputy Manager (Maintenance) at Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) Limited of Nigerian National Petrochemical Corporation (NNPC).A summary of his post-graduate work experience included periods at:

  • Edok-Eter Mandilas Ltd., PMB1220, Maiduguri. for mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)(Sept.1979-Oct. 1980) and as Engineer (Nov.1980-Dec.1983)
  • Elmac Associates: Manpower Training and Dev. Consultants as Technical Instructor (Dec.1983-Nov 1984)
  • Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC) (Nov1984-Nov. 2004), Rising from Engineer to Area Head (LAB Plant)/Deputy Manager (Offsite Maintenance)
  • Samez Engineering Services Ltd and Samez Consultancy Services Ltd. (2005-Date) as Group Chief Executive and Managing Director

Eze was groomed in Human Resources development at El-Mac Associates where he also doubled as technical instructor. He has many technical publications to his credit and has demonstrated an unusual ability to structure seminars and short courses so that participants can build their own conclusions on good basic technology, sound logic and thoroughly demonstrated results

Engr Samuel Chikezie Eze is registered with The Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) as a ‘Mechanical Engineer’ and is happily married with children to Mrs. Eunice Nkiruka Eze (Nee Akagbusi),
